Krrivo ("we", "us", or "our") provides a WhatsApp-based patient communication service to clinics. This policy explains what information we collect from clinics and patients, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Patient information from WhatsApp conversations: phone number, name (when shared), language preference, and the messages exchanged with the clinic's bot.
• Appointment data: dates, times, doctor, clinic, and status of bookings made via Krrivo.
• Clinic information: clinic name, address, doctors, working hours, fees, and credentials needed to operate the service.
• Technical information: message delivery status, timestamps, and error logs needed to keep the service running.

2. How we use information

We use information only to:

• Operate the patient-clinic messaging flow (booking, reminders, FAQs).
• Help clinic staff manage appointments and follow up with patients.
• Improve reliability of the service and diagnose technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell patient or clinic information to third parties. We do not use patient information for advertising.

3. Sharing with service providers

To provide the service, we share certain information with carefully selected service providers, including:

• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business API): for delivering and receiving messages.
• Google (Sheets and related services): for storing clinic appointment records, when configured by the clinic.
• Hosting providers: for running the Krrivo service.

These providers are contractually required to handle the information securely and only on our behalf.

4. Data retention

We retain patient conversation history and appointment records for as long as the clinic uses Krrivo, plus a reasonable period afterwards for backups and legal record-keeping. Clinics may request deletion of specific patient data by contacting us at support@krrivo.in.

5. Patient rights

Patients have the right to:

• Know what information about them is stored.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of their data.
• Withdraw consent and stop receiving messages by replying "STOP" on WhatsApp at any time.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and audit logs. However, no system is perfectly secure. We will notify clinics promptly of any data incident affecting their patients.

7. Children's privacy

Krrivo is intended for use by clinics with adult patients or guardians of minor patients. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to clinics directly.
